Another option we explored when seeking out east coast vineyards was in New York.  A friend of mine asked if I’d ever been up on the Finger Lake wine trails up by Ithaca and I hadn’t.  When I began to research the area, I was opened up to a whole world of vineyards that I didn’t even know existed, and that I’m now dying to visit.  Unfortunately, this idea was quickly dismissed...
